Before building our home, we had heard uniformly good things about Garrison Homes from our realtor, our lawyer, a knowledgeable tradesman in the area, and online reviews. Our experience building our new home in Lewes bore this out. Jeff Garrison has assembled a great staff of professionals who kept our project on budget and close to on time despite all the difficulties imposed during the height of COVID. Jen helped us with contract negotiations; Eva kept the details of the project running; Erin helped us with our design selections; and, since we were not local, Keith, the construction site manager, kept us closely informed of progress with weekly reports and photos. There were remarkably few “bumps” in the whole process and only one or two change orders due to the solid communication practices of Garrison Homes. Our emails or text messages were always answered within 24 hours and very often within an hour or two. The finish work, both inside and out, seems superior. And one post-construction issue, which was really the fault of our appliance dealer, was addressed immediately by Garrison. We believe we got a well-built home with an outstanding level of customer service not available from a typical tract-home builder. We have no hesitation recommending Garrison Homes.
